Taking a Big Leap: From a Lab Coat to Living My Dream
Before Sheeness come to life, I as a Lab Technician in a compounding pharmacy. It was a place where I fell in love with the art of formulation–learning about ingredients and how they work wonders for our bodies. I got to see firsthand how science and nature can come together to make a difference. But even then, I knew I wanted more, I dreamt of creating something special that would help women feel beautiful, confident, and supported from the inside out.
Taking that leap wasn’t easy. Living behind a stable job to pursue this dream was terrifying. There were nights when I couldn’t sleep, worrying about whether I’d made the right choice. But deep down, I knew I had to take this chance because I believed in what I was creating.
I’ve struggled with hormonal imbalances, dull skin, and sensitivity issues for as long as I can remember. I tried countless collagen products, hoping for that miracle, but most fell short. I realized I could create something better, something I would be proud to use and share. So, I made a bold decision: I left my job, and with a mix of excitement and fear, I set out to build
––Sheeness.

The very first products I developed were Sheeness Glow Collagen Tripeptide and Sheenessence Lotion –both incredibly close to my heart. Let me tell you whyyy.
Sheeness Glow Collagen Tripeptide was created to help women like me who want more than just a quick fix for their skin. I teamed up with a top nutritionist and used advanced Korean hydrolysis technology to ensure the collagen is highly absorbable (only 500 Dalton in size !). Supports not just beauty, but also overall hormonal health. I wanted it to be a supplement that truly makes you feel good from the inside out.

Sheenessence Lotion was born out of a personal need. I have extremely dry, sensitive skin that flares up easily. I know what it’s like to struggle with itchy, irritated skin, and I wanted to create a lotion that could soothe and nourish without any harsh ingredients. But it wasn’t just about me – I developed it with my grandmother in mind. Her skin is delicate, often dry, and prone to scratches and inflammation. I wanted a formula that would feel like a gentle hug for the skin, offering comfort and relief. So, I poured my love into these products, ensuring it’s rich, hydrating, and perfect for anyone with sensitive or allergy prone skin.
I’m proud to say that Sheenessence Lotion has become one of our hot products, loved by so many of you. Hearing how it’s helped soothe sensitive skin, provided deep hydration, and become a staple in your skincare routines brings me so much happiness. It’s become a bestseller and a true testament to the love and thought we put into every formula.
Building Sheensss has been like planting a tiny seed in rocky soil. There were moments when everything felt overwhelming–when the road seemed too long and the obstacles too great. But every challenge was a lesson in perseverance. I reminded myself why I started and leaned into the belief that the hard work and sleepless night would be worth it. And they have been.
